Recommended Books On Leadership

Start With Why

Simon Sinek

A brilliant book exploring the heart of the reasons why we follow great leaders and great companies. Because it isn't WHAT they do it's WHY they do it. This book has a wide range of examples and insightful ideas that explain the success of businesses like apple and leaders like Martin Luther King Jr.

48 Laws of Power

Robert Greene

A classic, incredibly well written book for anyone interested in the games and manipulations that people use in order to gain power in the world. A real eye-opener and a set of principles worth investing in understanding. Beware, all of Robert Greene's books are incredibly addictive reading.

Team Of Rivals

Doris Kearns Goodwin

One of my favourite books on leadership and a book I couldn't put down once I started reading. If ever there was a individual that personified unassuming leadership and service to a greater good then it was Abraham Lincoln. The ways in which he created a strong group of cabinet members able to work together at what was one of the most critical times in US history is a powerful lesson in leading teams.

How To Win Friends And Influence People

Dale Carnegie

The classic book by Dale Carnegie. If you haven't read it already then it should 100% be on your must read list. Timeless, basic wisdom on simple principles like how to make a good impression, how to listen intently, how to resolve disagreements and how to create stronger, deeper relationships.

Discipline Equals Freedom

Jocko Willink

A no holds barred, no-nonsense approach to achieving greatness in the world. Written by former US Navy SEAL Jocko Willink, this book is a much needed call-to-action for anyone looking to take responsibility for their success and get after what matters in life.
